Údarás na Gaeltachta has an exciting new opportunity for Graduate students with Irish. For the first time Údarás na Gaeltachta are offering a two-year employment contract to Graduate students, which will provide professional experience along with a proposed Level 9 Postgraduate Diploma certification, in conjunction with Atlantic Technological University.
This employment contract is open to graduates of all qualifications from business, technology, accountancy to planning, project management, science, social sciences and communications.
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work in various departments within Údarás na Gaeltachta over the two-year placement. They will have the option to choose to locate themselves in any of Údarás na Gaeltachta’s regional offices in Na Forbacha, Galway, Gaoth Dobhair, Co. Donegal, Béal an Mhuirthead, Co. Mayo, An Daingean, Co. Kerry and Baile Mhic Íre in Co. Cork.
Having completed the two-year placement, highly skilled applicants will emerge and be eligible to apply for vacancies in Gaeltacht companies, in social enterprises, in the public sector, with organisations and State departments providing services to Gaeltacht and Irish language communities.

This opportunity is open to applicants who are fluent Irish speakers and who hold a NFQ level 8 qualification or for graduates who are completing their degree in the academic year 2023/2024. Applications can be made via GAIRM. Applications will be accepted up to 4pm on 22 April, 2024.
