West Mayo
This Gaeltacht Language Planning Area (LPT) covers the following electoral divisions: Acaill, an Corrán and Dú Éige. Sliabh Mór was included in this planning process so that a Language Plan will be prepared for the parish as a whole.
According to the 2016 Census, 2,088 people lived in this LPT, and 8.6% of this population over 3 years of age spoke Irish on a daily basis.
