Maigh Cuilinn | Galway | Language Planning Areas | Our Language & the Ghaeltacht

This Gaeltacht Language Planning Area (LPT) sits north of Galway city, and the village itself is around 10km from the city centre, on the N59.

According to the 2016 Census, 4,470 people lived in this LPT, and 7.0% of this population over 3 years of age spoke Irish on a daily basis.
