An tEachréidh

This Gaeltacht Language Planning Area (LPT) is located north-east of Galway city, and consists of three electoral divisions. Baile Chláir na Gaillimhe and an Carn Mór are very near the city and the cities suburb, and Eanach Dhúin, further north, is still a rural area.

The 2016 Census figures show that there are 7,999 people living in this LPT and that 2.9% of the population over 3 years of age spoke Irish on a daily basis.
