Statement regarding the Irish language 2006

Údarás na Gaeltachta welcomes the Statement regarding the Irish Language 2006 announced by the Government yesterday. An tÚdarás believes that this visionary statement is very important as it carries the Government’s approval and that a provision of €300,000 has been approved to formulate an action plan.

An tÚdarás hopes to have an active part in devising the strategy in association with Fóram na Gaeilge.
