Business development centre An Daingean

Údarás na Gaeltachta is committed to assisting and promoting business and start-up companies in Gaeltacht areas. As part of this strategy Údarás na Gaeltachta has recently made additional office space available at Páirc Ghnó an Daingin, Baile an Mhuilinn, An Daingean, Co. Chiarraí. The office space, in the recently launched Business Development Centre, is available to clients in the form of individual office desks, for a period of between 1 and 12 months. An Údarás na Gaeltachta spokesperson stated “It is envisaged that the Business Development Centre will be used to research and develop business ideas including feasibility studies for start-up companies and will create additional employment in the area.”

The services provided in the Business Development Centre are as follows:

• Office space with desk, chair and storage space
• Business address
• 24 hour access
• Broadband
• Direct dial telephone
• Fax, photocopier and printer
• Meeting rooms available for rent
• Tea / coffee making facilities
• Development support, training and advice in the start-up phase will be made available to assist client companies

Eligible applicants include Irish-speaking clients with projects/businesses requiring further development in the areas of Information Technology, Language Based Industries, Education and Internationally Traded Services. Rent will be charged on a monthly basis at a cost of €200.
