Sliabh Liag
Sliabh Liag Distillers was established in 2017 with the purpose of reclaiming the distilling heritage of Donegal. A working artisan distillery, is the first distilling company in the county for over 175 years. Driven by a passion for authenticity, our premium brands recreate the rich liquids and challenging smoky Irish whiskies from before the industrial revolution. Our visitors will experience the unique distilling process at our facility.
To create a legacy through our business that the whole community can be proud of we harnessed the knowledge and legends of the west coast of Ireland to bring a modern, confident Donegal Gaeltacht to the world.
How did the Údarás help?
An tÚdarás provides support and funding to Sliabh Liag to encourage growth and development toward exporting, working with the diaspora, and developing cross boarder relationships to attract new trading markets into the region.
