Fánad Lighthouse
Teach Solais Fhánada is located in Ireland’s most northerly Gaeltacht. It is operated as a community social enterprise offering guided tours of the lighthouse and accommodation in the original light-keeper’s houses as well as a café/gift-shop. It has been voted one of the most beautiful lighthouses worldwide and in its stunning location on the Wild Atlantic Way, has featured in many global marketing campaigns, while visitors come from all corners of the world. Teach Solais Fhánada is supported by Pobal, Údarás na Gaeltachta, Fáilte Ireland and Donegal County Council.

Údarás na Gaeltachta has offered valuable, ongoing support to the Teach Solais Fhánada social enterprise from the outset. Údarás has been central in providing support to employ a marketing executive to promote and sell this attraction. Údarás is also represented on the Board of Teach Sholais Fhánada.
