Capitalising on Digital Innovations for Heritage and Capacity (“CADI SHAC”) is an EU project which is co-financed by the Northern Periphery & Arctic (“NPA”) Programme. The project is made up of four partners from across Europe, including; lead partners Robert Gordon University in Scotland, Údarás na Gaeltachta in the Republic of Ireland, Gunnar Gunnarsson Institute in Iceland and Ulster University in Northern Ireland.
COVID has emphasised the need for SMEs in the NPA region to embrace digitalisation and the need to create a unique online space. CADI SHAC aims to capitalise on that which has already been achieved through; StoryTagging, Digi2Market, CINE & STRATUS, other EU projects which have used digital innovation in different ways to enhance the market reach of SMEs. CADI SHAC will do this through engaging and upskilling SMEs in areas such as; digital marketing, immersive technology, data analytics and placed-based approaches.
