Access2Sea

Access2Sea European Project is funded by the Interreg Atlantic Area Programme through the European Regional Development Fund. The project runs from March 2019 to February 2022.

Access2Sea improves the attractiveness of the Atlantic shore for aquaculture SMEs by enabling new business opportunities and providing sustainable and easier access to it. Aquaculture could boost economic development and jobs creation in regard to seafood by enhancing the exploitation and preservation of the Atlantic Area natural assets. Creating new sustainable farms is a key element for the blue economy in the region.

Access2Sea will focus on creating new opportunities for a more competitive and sustainable blue growth in the Atlantic Area. Aquaculture, despite constituting a sector with high potential is still, to a large extent, untapped by companies.
