Údarás na Gaeltachta Welcomes Budget Increase

Údarás na Gaeltachta is pleased to announce that they have received an increase of €1.928 million in their budget for the coming year. This represents a 5.25% increase on the 2024 budget.

Údarás na Gaeltachta warmly welcomes this increase in their budget. It is noteworthy that the Údarás team was at a language planning Conference today when they received this good news, which highlights the importance of this work for our Gaeltacht communities.

The increase will enhance the Údarás’s ability to improve and expand their work in the Gaeltacht, building on the valuable work already being carried out by their dedicated team.

This additional investment demonstrates strong confidence in the important work being undertaken by the Údarás. These extra resources will be used to cater to the needs of the Gaeltacht community and to achieve ambitious development goals.

The Údarás is committed to fostering a sustainable future for the Gaeltacht communities, and this budget increase will help them make significant progress towards this goal.
