Údarás na Gaeltachta is delighted to support students from Pobalscoil Ghaoth Dobhair, Co. Donegal, who are representing Ireland at Europe’s largest entrepreneurship competition for young people this week.
The Eco Paws team is among 800+ young entrepreneurs from 40 European countries at JA Europe’s Gen_E 2025 in Athens, Greece. At this event, these young students from the Gaeltacht will have the opportunity to present their innovative business ideas to a live audience and showcase their entrepreneurial skills on the European stage.
“We are extremely proud of these students from Pobalscoil Ghaoth Dobhair,” said a spokesperson for Údarás na Gaeltachta. “This is a wonderful demonstration of the entrepreneurial potential that exists among our young people in the Gaeltacht. It is important that we support opportunities like this that enable our students to develop their skills and connect with other young people across Europe.”
As an organisation focused on the economic and social development of the Gaeltacht, Údarás na Gaeltachta understands the importance of encouraging entrepreneurship among the next generation. This is an exceptional opportunity for the students to gain experience in international entrepreneurship and to demonstrate that there is unlimited talent and potential in the Gaeltacht.
The winners will be announced at tonight’s awards ceremony.
We wish them every success in the competition.
