Gaeltacht enterprises shine on national stage with strong representation in Ireland’s most prestigious food awards

Údarás na Gaeltachta is delighted to congratulate the exceptional Gaeltacht food producers who have been selected as finalists for Blas na hÉireann, The Irish Food Awards 2025. These outstanding enterprises demonstrate the innovation, quality, and deep-rooted food traditions that flourish in Ireland’s Gaeltacht regions.

The Gaeltacht finalists represent a diverse range of food and drink categories, showcasing the breadth of culinary excellence across Gaeltacht communities. Among those recognised are:

Cork Gaeltacht:

Galway Gaeltacht:

Mayo Gaeltacht:

These finalists will compete alongside Ireland’s finest food producers when the awards are presented in Dingle on Friday, 3rd October 2025, as part of the Blas na hÉireann weekend celebrations running from Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th October.
