Údarás na Gaeltachta approved the following projects at a board meeting in Rinn Ó gCuanach, Co. Waterford on Friday 23 February 2007.
Monarcha 1, Eastát Tionscail na nDúnaibh, Na Dúnaibh, Co. Donegal
A capital provision of €650,000 was approved to redevelop Monarcha 1, Eastát Tionscail na nDúnaibh and bring it to a standard suitable for offices and production space.
Institiúid Náisiúnta Traenála agus Forbartha (Rehabcare), Casla, Co. Galway
A capital provision of €335,000 was approved for repairs and improvements on the building which houses The National Training and Development Initiative (Rehab Care) in Casla so that it may be suitable to the project’s requirements.
Ionad Fiontraíochta Scríb, Co. Galway.
Údarás na Gaeltachta and the Electricity Supply Board have decided to place the enterprise center – Ionad Fiontraíochta Scríb on the market.
Acadamh na hOllscolaíochta Gaeilge, Ollscoil na hÉireann, Galway
A research and development grant was approved to Acadamh na hOllscolaíochta Gaeilge to help the Acadamh with preparatory research and development work to establish a Research and Further Education Centre in Gaoth Dobhair, Co. Donegal and in Carna, Co. Galway.
