Údarás na Gaeltachta approved the following projects at a bord meeting held in Gort an Choirce, Co. Donegal last Friday (27 July 2007):

Éamonn Mac Pháidín, Broadhaven Bay Hotel, Béal an Mhuirthead, Co. Mayo
Financial assistance was approved for the development of a new sea fishing and sea trips business in Iorras as part of the tourism business being developed by the Broadhaven Bay Hotel.

E.H.S Teo, Páirc Ghnó Ghaoth Dobhair, Co. Donegal
The board approved the provision of a site to E.H.S. Teo. at Páirc Ghnó Ghaoth Dobhair. E.H.S. Teo aim to develop a business supplying renewable and sustainable energy products and services at Páirc Ghnó Ghaoth Dobhair. It’s anticipated that 11 people will be employed when the business is up and running.

GPE Teo, Anagaire, Co. Donegal
A capital grant was approved to GPE Teo. to assist the company in purchasing new machinery.

Bioniche Teo, An Choill Rua, Indreabhán, Co. Galway
A capital provision of €2.15 million was approved for the development of a new laboratory for Bioniche Teo. The company produce and sell pharmaceutical products and a new laboratory is required to enhance their manufacturing resources and allow them to develop new products.

Comhar Caomhán Teo, Inis Oírr, Co. Galway
A capital grant was approved to Comhar Caomhán Teo to purchase new machinery for works to be carried out on Inis Oírr.

Meitheal Éisc Teo, Cill Chiaráin, Co. Galway
It was agreed to invest €500,000 in shares in Meitheal Éisc Teo to enable the company increase productivity and meet market demands.

Dexgreen Teo, Béal Átha an Ghaorthaidh, Co. Cork
Support was approved for Dexgreen Teo to assist them in locating and developing new markets.

Cumann Lúthchleas Gael na Gaeltachta, Carraigh, Baile na nGall, Co. Kerry
It was agreed to provide Cumann Lúthchleas Gael na Gaeltachta with 5 acres of land in Gallaras, Baile na nGall for the development of a new sporting facility in the area.

Gcom Teo. Na Forbacha, Co. Galway
A grant of €120,000 was approved to Gcom Teo, a subsidiary company of Údarás, for the provision of a technology training and awareness programme for Gaeltacht businesses that will stimulate economic expansion and competitiveness.
