Substantial Investment made by Clódóirí Lurgan Teo

Clódóirí Lurgan, a printing company based in Indreabhán, Co. Galway has made a substantial investment in the business with the installation of a new high technology printer, the new Rapida 75, at a cost of €680,000.

Clódóirí Lurgan Teo is the first printing company both in Ireland and in Britain to install the Rapida 75 and at an event in Clódóirí Lurgan today, Pádraig Ó hAoláin, Chief Executive of Údarás na Gaeltachta launched the new KPA colour printer.

Pádraig Ó hAoláin commended the company on it’s strategy. “At a time when the industry is overshadowed by doom and gloom stories, the company is planning ahead and being innovative. Entrepreneurs like Micheál are more important than ever in the current economic climate. This investment by Clódóirí Lurgan Teo will enhance printing quality, allow for an increase in production, improve efficiencies and as a result ensure that the company is central to the marketplace”

Micheál Ó Conghaile explained that the company has continuously reinvested in the business in recent years and thanked Údarás na Gaeltachta for its support. He said the new printer will ensure that production is twice the rate of it’s predecessor, is more energy efficient and cost effective, therefore making the company more competitive.

At the launch, Micheál Ó Braonáin, company manager announced that the company is to launch it’s new website www.clprint.ie in the near future.
