Innovative Wireless Service Provider to the Global Supply Chain Net Feasa Limited to bring high-quality technology employment to the Gaeltacht region.

Minister for Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht, Dara Calleary, today (Thursday, 5 March) announced 23 new jobs in the West Kerry Gaeltacht for Údarás na Gaeltachta client company Net Feasa Limited, a technology company based in Daingean Uí Chúis, Kerry. The Údarás na Gaeltachta investment will significantly expand high-quality technology employment in an area that relies primarily on the tourism sector.

Net Feasa Limited was established in 2015 and has grown into a globally recognised and trusted technology partner to the global supply chain, with offices across Europe, East Asia and the United States. The company provides leading-edge digital transformation services to the world’s largest operators that help keep global trade moving. Through wireless network connectivity, complemented by real-time visibility, Net Feasa provides its partners with Agentic AI (AI Agents) and the digital tools that enable enhanced operational agility, lower costs, lower risk and improved security across the supply chain. Today, these services are live on vessels and in ports around the world, delivering lower-cost monitoring of mixed-fleet refrigerated containers, and providing early warning alerts for heat anomaly detection and enhanced safety.

The Minister for Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht, Dara Calleary TD said:

“The continued support of innovative indigenous enterprise in the Gaeltacht and this jobs announcement in the west Kerry Gaeltacht of Daingean Uí Chúis is a significant boost to the area, and the availability of highly skilled jobs is very welcome and I am delighted to make it during Seachtain n Gaeilge.

”I hope this announcement will highlight to companies and those looking to relocate to Gaeltacht areas of the benefits and opportunities it can provide to businesses and people. This investment illustrates how the State’s investment in Gaeltacht areas has had, and will continue to yield positive results.”

CEO of Údarás na Gaeltachta Tomás Ó Síocháin said:

“Net Feasa is a shining example of what is possible when innovation, ambition, and community come together. From its base in Daingean Uí Chúis, this company is competing and winning on the world stage, delivering cutting-edge IoT solutions to some of the largest operators in global shipping and logistics. This investment will bring 23 skilled, well-paid jobs to the West Kerry Gaeltacht; employment that will strengthen the local economy, support the Irish language, and demonstrate that our Gaeltacht regions can attract and retain world-class talent. Údarás na Gaeltachta is proud to support Net Feasa on this exciting next chapter of their growth.”

Net Feasa’s flagship product, Agentic Control Tower™ (ACT) is a vendor agnostic, cloud-based service offering, enabling real-time monitoring of shipping containers and other assets on ships and in ports. This unique offering enables clients to move from gathering and analysing data to acting on it. Agentic Control Tower™ can offer operational efficiencies and early warnings to help protect valuable cargo and more importantly, reduce risk exposure for port workers and vessel crews.

With over 90% of world (non-bulk) trade moving by sea across an estimated 50 million shipping containers, 7,350 container ships and 2,000 ports, the market opportunity is vast. The 23 new Gaeltacht-based roles will span software R&D, AI wireless network engineering, customer support, and administration.

Mike Fitzgerald Chairman & Founder of Net Feasa said:

“This is an important step in our growth plans for Net Feasa and positive for the wider Corca Dhuibhne community. These new roles represent a genuine opportunity for our talented people to build world-class technology careers without leaving their own community. We are grateful to Údarás na Gaeltachta for their ongoing support and look forward to continuing to work through the next phases of our growth.”

This investment of 335 thousand euro reflects Údarás na Gaeltachta’s commitment to building a sustainable, knowledge-driven economy within Gaeltacht communities. By supporting innovative companies such as Net Feasa, Údarás na Gaeltachta is reinforcing the Gaeltacht’s position as a credible and competitive location for high-value international enterprise.

It forms part of a long-term strategy to attract and retain world-class talent in the Gaeltacht, strengthen the Irish language in areas where it remains the community language, and ensure that places such as West Kerry can compete successfully on the global stage.
