The television production company Nemeton, which is an Údarás client company based in the Waterford Gaeltacht, has been nominated for an IFTA award. The nomination is for the GAA Beo programme and it’s broadcasting of the 2009 Club Finals which took place in Croke Park last year. GAA Beo pioneered in the live broadcasting of the Gaelic Games for TG4.
Nemeton is recognized worldwide for television production and digital media. It produces a range of sport’s progammes which include Gaelic games, soccer, horse racing, snooker and international sailing events.
With assistance from Údarás na Gaeltachta, the Waterford Institute of Technology in conjunction with Nemeton, provide a Higher Diploma course in Television Production and are currently seeking applications. Further information may be obtained by contacting Nemeton.
