Nemeton, a Údarás na Gaeltachta client company located in an Rinn, Co. Waterford, is continuingly training experts for the TV and Media industry through its Higher Diploma in Television course. The Higher Diploma in Television is provided in conjunction with Waterford IT and funded by Údarás na Gaeltachta.
Since the course was established in 2006, over 40 programmes have been produced as part of the coursework, 35 of which have been broadcast on TG4. Due to this, the Higher Diploma in Television is well-known and respected in the TV and Media industry.
The Higher Diploma in Television provides students with the expertise and skills necessary to work with media and digital marketing media, for example: film, sound, directing and editing.
This year’s Higher Diploma in Television, a yearlong course at level 8, commenced in September with 12 students attending from Connemara, An Rinn, Waterford and Cork.
