Údarás na Gaeltachta is delighted to congratulate two companies that received major funding under Call 7 of the Disruptive Technologies Innovation Fund (DTIF). They will be working on new projects in the health sector.

HealAsystant – AI System to Assist with Compression Therapy

FeelTect Limited and Professional Granite Consulting Limited, located in Galway and Cork, received €6.3 million. They are creating an AI system that will provide support to patients using compression therapy. This will greatly enhance patients’ quality of life and medical care.

SmartMobility CNM – Monitoring System for Patient Nutrition

Invermed Ltd, together with their partners Rockfield Medical Devices and the Irish Manufacturing Research Centre (IMR), received €3.3 million. The SmartMobility CNM introduces continuous, real-time nutritional monitoring compatible with all enteral feeding systems—enabling truly data-driven nutritional care.

These are part of 27 projects that received total funding of €159 million under Call 7 of the DTIF. The €9.6 million for these projects demonstrates that companies in the Gaeltacht can be at the forefront in health technology matters.
