Údarás na Gaeltachta note the judgement made by the High Court (Commercial) yesterday (16/12/08) against Pearse Flynn, promoter of Teagmháil an Daingin Teo and Teagmháil Acla Teo.
An tÚdarás, which was awarded judgement for €1.235 million plus costs, had brought legal proceedings against Mr Flynn seeking the repayments of grants of €1.235m that were paid to companies Teagmháil an Daingin Teo and Teagmháil Acla Teo. The two companies were involved in the call centre and financial services businesses in An Daingean, Co. Kerry and in Acaill, Co. Mayo and ceased trading without notice in February 2008.
