Glúin Nua 2023

Údarás na Gaeltachta is delighted to support the exciting concept of Glúin Nua 2023, a creative project in digital media, creating content aimed at young people aged 16-24. Through this project, TG4 want to inspire the next generation of storytellers, creating excellent digital content, under the direction and with the advice of established  television production companies.

This fund has received €90,000 from a partnership between TG4, Údarás na Gaeltachta, ILBF and in collaboration with Gréasán na Meán.

Chief Executive of Údarás na Gaeltachta, Tomás Ó Síocháin, said:

“We are very happy to once again support Glúin Nua, a programme that brings together two areas of Údarás na Gaeltachta’s remit that are very important to us: encouraging and empowering the young people of the Gaeltacht; and our continued support for the audiovisual sector.

 

Our participation in this project is an example of the broad collaboration that Údarás na Gaeltachta has with various partners in the creative sector: our partnership with TG4, CREW and Gaeltacht audiovisual production companies.

 

Údarás na Gaeltachta is committed to providing a wide range of training opportunities to the Gaeltacht community in this sector, to enable them to play an active role in one of the most important industries for the Gaeltacht.”
