
Minister for Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht, Dara Calleary TD, has today turned the sod for construction to commence on Ionad Pobail Mhaigh Cuilinn, a new community facility for Maigh Cuilinn and the surrounding catchment area.
Údarás na Gaeltachta played a pivotal role in the development of this project from its inception, working in close partnership with Forbairt Pobail Mhaigh Cuilinn and engaging actively with the local community.
Speaking today in Maigh Cuilinn, Minister Calleary said:“I am delighted to be here today in Maigh Cuilinn as we turn the sod for construction to start on this wonderful centre. This community facility, which includes an enterprise hub, will greatly add to community life for those in Maigh Cuilinn and the wider catchment area.
