Údarás na Gaeltachta today (23 September) announced that a new company, Baile na Finne Plaisteach Teo, is to establish a manufacturing plant in Baile na Finne Co. Donegal which will lead to the creation of 23 new jobs.
The company will be located in the Údarás na Gaeltachta Industrial Estate and plans to begin production in November 2015. The company hopes to employ 12 people before the end of the year.
The company will produce plastic containers for the fast food industry. Steve Ó Cúláin, CEO of Údarás na Gaeltachta, said an tÚdarás is pleased to provide support to the company and the new jobs created are extremely important for Baile na Finne and the surrounding area.
