Fiona Concannon, grew up in An Spidéal Co. Galway on the west coast of Ireland - an area renowned for its outstanding natural beauty. Fiona left her much loved An Spidéal to finesse her craft and studied Fine Art Painting, at a variety of institutions, including the Limerick School of Art and Design, GMIT, Crawford College of Art and Design, The University of Ulster and The National College of Art and Design.
