James and Moira Doherty began the journey of bringing distilling back to Donegal in 2014. The couple moved to north west Donegal, the birthplace of James’s parents and established Sliabh Liag Distillers. They have launched various award-winning products: the Legendary Silkie Whiskey, An Dúlaman Gin and the Assaranca Vodka.
